A harf of the season has ended

We have had 10 games so far since the Summer season has started in October. With the results of the season, we got a unbilievable thing. We has won 8 wins out of 10 games, and 2 draws.
In the middle of season we are on 1st position. Yes! We are No.1 now.
It is unpredictable that we have no lost. A friend of mine told me he has never experienced like this season.

On the other hand, how about individual status?
At the last game in a half of the season, I came out on top of Kensington Div.3 in batting average 5.00 and also 12 RBIs.

At the beginning of this season I played for Div.2, but I decided to play for Div.3 due to ankle injury.
I think the decision was good for me. In Div.2 we have a game on Saturday morning, however I have a job on Saturday, too. So it is hard to play as a starter player in Div.2.
I am so happy to play for Div.3 and excited to keep my 1st position in this season.

First victory on the new season

We had a game with Port Adelaide club that got second place in last season.
They played well except for pitching. We hit and get some runs at first inning.
After all we had 9, and the opponent had 3. We took the first match of this season. Yes!!!!

Meanwhile I actually didn't play much. I only played end of the game for runner.
My coach made consideration of my ankle, and he decided to not let me play for this game.
It was good to me. I was afraid of playing with injured ankle.
I hope my ankle gets well soon. Next game? I don't think so.... I need one more month to be perfect condition.

Next game is held at Glenelg. They were the champion in last season.

Permanent Visa Granted

It has just been for a year since I have came to Adelaide.
My wife and I finally got a Permanent Visa.

We appreciate a friend of mine who helped and advised.
The day we got the Visa is the special day for us adn unforgetable day.

What I need to do is a job hunting.
We have the right to purchase a house with a loan as a permanent resident.
However even if my wife has already worked, we are unable to loan eanough money to buy a dream house.
I seriously have to start looking for a job now.
And at the same time I will also begin studing English and put myself into the Australian community to make a friend.

Vocab. development

He is retiring next year
I already find that I can 1)farm out tasks I used to do myself. I'm slowly 2)easing off now so that I can 3)step aside next year knowing I've left everything in good hands.

1)give work to other people instead of doing it, yourself
2)starting to work less or do things with less energy
3)leave a job or position, especially so that someone else can do it.

She tries to stop a strike
We never like to 1)call people out on strike, but when we do, we have to be determined to see it 2)through to the end. We have to keep talking constructively and try not to get 3)bogged down in lengthy negotiations which only prolong the strike.

1)order workers to strike
2)continue doing a job until it is finished, especially when it is difficult
3)(informal) become so involved in the details of something that you cannot achieve anything

He hates his job
My job is monotonous(boring/routine work). I just 1)slog away day after day. People like me 2)get passed over for promotion. I often feel like 3)packing this job in and finding something else. One day I will just hand in my notice and go.

1)(informal)keep working very hard, usually for a long time
2)are not given a higher position because it is givin to someone else
3)(informal)stopping doing something, especially a job

She is a hard worker
In this job you just have to 1)fling yourself into your work and 2)beaver away to get things done each day. I spend a lot of time running round(work hard) helping other people. It's not a bad job, and some days I can 3)get off early if the boss isn't around.

1)start to spend a lot of your time and energy doing something
2)(informal)work hard at something for a long time, especially something you are writing
3)leave the place where you work, usually at the end of the day

Ambitious man
I decided to go in for research, as I wanted to do something exciting. I don't think I'm 1)cut out for teaching. University was fun, but nothing. I've got to 2)knuckle down(or buckle down) and build my career.

1)have the right qualities for something, especially a job
2)start to work or study hard, especially if you have not been working very hard before

Hopeless lady
In this job you just 1)plug away and hope the day will pass quickly. If I have to write a report, I do what I can do 2)cobble something together but I don't ever feel that I achieve anything worthwhile. Most people in my position just 3)coast along and dream of the summer successful.

1)(informal)work hard at something for a long time
2)make something quickly and not very carefully
3)do only thethings that you have to do without trying to go faster or be more successful

Vocab. development(Knowing and Not knowing)

Knowing

"(be)wise to someone or something/get wise to someone or something to know about and not be fooled by someone or something"
6.I can feel it in my bones.

7.We finally arrived. well...You do know your stuff.
"know your stuff to know a lot about a subject"

1.You are out of your depth or you are lost the way, aren't you?
"(be)out of your depth not to know very much, or enough, about a subject"
 2.I know you don't have a clue.
"not have a clue/without a clue not to have any information about something"

English class

I have just started English class at community center.
There is only one time in a week. However, it is free and has two hours class.
I found this opportunity on the message board at Coles shopping center. ahaha
I had already taken the class. It was so enjoyable and people were nice.
It is like social conversation between a teacher and students.
My teacher said he teaches English at other community center with a few payment.
I think that the students whom he teaches at other places will recognize he has a free English class!!! But He told me "they don't know this class, so it is OK. no worries"

Thank you so much

Now, I have turned to 30 years old.
My wife celebrated me with nice event.
She took me out special lunch and cooked great cheese cake, and present a sleeping wear. She made me so happy!! Thank you so much!!

We both are 30 now. It will be so excited and the most important decade for our future life. I am sure that there are many events I have to face and challenge.

Since I was born, I have not done for anything for the people who I have been treated much. I think this is the time to treat back to them and grow myself up as the valuable man who has perfect wife.

Today, I want to say Thank you to my parents and big bro, and all my people who I love.

Special Chef

I feel and smell "Japan"every night more than I am in Japan.

My wife is awesome chef. She serves all Japanese dishes which I miss so much.
When we were in Japan, We did not have dishes that she serves now.
This is the generation that she is really good at cooking.
Her mother is like a chef. I love her dishes so much.
So, now my wife is going to be nice chef like her mother.
I always look forward to having a dinner with her.

You want to know tonight's dish?
Come on...... I am the person who can have her special dish.

Skyshow Firework in Adelaide

We had the biggest firework in SA tonight.
It is fired for 40 minites. The fire is started at East of Adelaide CBD.
There is a huge ground that is sometimes used for car race and road race.
Well…actually I could not see the firework.

My wife and I prefered to watch TV drama”BONES”.
But it is on Saturday. We did not totally forget the day the program starts.
Then, unfortunately we could not see Skyshow firework and TV show.

Oh, by the way, I have good NEWS.
Kensington Div 1 had first final game today. They Won!!!!!
Moreover, Div 7 also won and got ground final next saturday !!!!
